Animal Care WorkshopsThe JPK Animal Care Workshop is a unique experience for kids who love animals. Designed by a zoologist and taught by vet nurses, students learn practical animal care and handling skills at the Animal Learning Centre, Herne Bay.
Interact with a range of pets including lizards, chinchillas, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, rats, tropical fish, axolotls, newts, mice, turtles and lots more! Also covers animal careers and animal first aid. Workshops for up to 7yrs, and 8-14yrs.

Using an internationally acclaimed curriculum, this class focuses on the moral development and empowerment of children, and seeks to help them foster their own unique capacities and strengths. Aided by story-telling, arts and crafts, songs, and co-operative games the lessons explore various key values for moral development such as unity, truthfulness, kindness and generosity. In the process, the program is also designed to build a sense of neighbourhood and giving back to the community.

Number Knights Holiday Maths Programme
Caters for years 4, 5 and 6.
Takes place in week 1 of the holidays: 27 September to 1 October for 5 days Monday to Friday daily. Session times are 1 hour periods daily.
• Year 4 9 – 10am
• Year 5 10.15 – 11.15
• Year 6 11.30 – 12.30pm
The Number Knights programme covers aspects of the four basic operations, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Your child will have the opportunity to work in a class of no more than 10 students with a NZ qualified teacher, Mr Andrew Lindsay. Expert tuition catering for your child’s mathematical needs.
