Dear Parents
Thank you all for your support throughout what has been an extremely busy term. The eleven weeks have flown by and it is amazing to think of what we have achieved: the school picnic, meet the teacher evening, swimming sports, Year 6 and Year 4 camps, our working bee, numerous sporting events and class trips, healthy schools week and of course events each week leading up to our fantastic Gala on April 3rd.
Unsurprisingly children, staff (and parents), have been looking a little weary this last week and I am sure that everyone is ready for the well-deserved Easter break. Enjoy time with your families and I look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 2nd May.
The junior school decking project work has been progressing rapidly. There has been much excitement over the last week as the children have been able to witness handrails and seating going in place. We are hoping that the first deck outside Rooms 9 and 10 will be finished in the next couple of days and the work will continue over the holiday period to try and get the second deck, behind Rooms 7 and 8, in use at the start of next term
Please ensure that your children are aware of the potential dangers of the building work particularly if you use the site over the school holiday period.
