Senior Students - Positions of Responsibility
The School Council is made up of 12 Senior School students. These students carry out a range of leadership roles across the school including running the weekly school assemblies and our end of year prize giving. Earlier this year these students attended the National Young Leaders Day Conference, which aimed to encourage students to reach their own personal goals as well as the goals of those they are leading

School Banking Representatives |
The School Banking program has been running at Victoria Ave School for 5 years now. It is designed to fit in with the school curriculum by producing ‘real life’ banking experience as well as helping children develop their numeracy skills. It gives the students the opportunity to develop customer service and accuracy skills whilst demonstrating responsibility.
Each of the School Banking Representatives has had to prepare and submit a C.V., then participate in an interview prior to being successfully selected as a School Banking Representative. The students visit the bank where they are trained to collect and process deposits from students at the school each week.
School Banking is held in Room 4 on Wednesday mornings from 8:15 through to 8:50 you are welcome to come in and visit us any time.
For more information please contact Miss McQuinn in Room 4 or Helene Matthews at The National Bank Remuera on 09 25 22 658
