Year 6 Netball Competition Information |
VENUE: AMI Auckland Netball Centre
7 Allison Ferguson Drive
St Johns
COMPETITION: Future Ferns, no compulsory position rotation (positions dictated by coach). Players use a hoop height of 3.05m and a size 5 ball.
GAMES: Games will be played on Tuesday afternoons with teams playing one game each week at either 4:15 or 5:05 (with a 5:55pm round added if entries require). Games will be 40 minute duration with 4 x 10 minute quarters.
COMPETITION DATES:
10 May – First grading game
31 May – First competition game
5 July – Championship round begins
19 & 26 July – School holidays (no play)
16 August – Final game
23 August – Saver Day
3 September – Prizegiving
PRACTICES: One practice a week, time to be decided by the coach.
